Vanilla Muffins Recipe

 


The homemade basic muffin recipe is incredibly quick and simple to create, and the crumb is soft and squishy. With so many variants available, this simple muffin recipe will quickly become a household favourite.


Ingredients;


1 egg beaten


0.5 cups of any kind of milk will do


Vegetable oil, 1/4 cup


Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon


1/2 cup sugar


1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


2 teaspoons baking powder


1/2 tsp salt


INSTRUCTIONS;


Heat the oven to 400 °F. Using muffin liners or liberally greasing a muffin pan are two options.

Combine the milk, vanilla, vegetable oil, and egg.

Combine baking powder, flour, sugar, and salt in a another basin. Combine by whisking. The liquid ingredients should be added to the dry ones. Just until incorporated, blend.

Fill each muffin paper with batter until it is two-thirds full. 16 to 20 minutes of baking.

Store in a bag or container that is airtight.

Before combining them, the dry components and the liquid elements are mixed together. By ensuring that our ingredients are thoroughly integrated, we may avoid overmixing when combining them all. Muffins that have been over-mixed may be rough or rubbery.

NOTES;

It's possible for baking powder to degrade. Replace it every six months or perform a test by adding roughly half a teaspoon of baking powder to a bowl with 1/4 cup of boiling water. It is still excellent if it bubbles.

During the second half of baking, rotate the muffin pan in the oven. Even the most efficient ovens can heat unevenly. Even baking will be achieved by turning them.

Warm muffins can be provided. We take them out of the oven, take them out of the muffin tin, and let them cool on a bakeware rack.
